BE ART is a fluid experimental art project curated by Silvia Russo.
"Art at home" is the tagline of the collective, born in a private flat in the historic centre of Messina, in December '17, transformed for the occasion into an artistic hub.
BE ART aims to place the viewer in an immersive and participatory experience, seamlessly integrating different artworks and exhibitions into the most intimate spaces of everyday life. Through dynamic performance events, the project transcends the boundaries of conventional art showcases, fostering a sense of shared involvement. The intentional dramatization of private spaces, transformed from ordinary environments into vibrant arenas of community exchange and artistic expression, aims to emphasize the collective nature of the project. By fostering connections between artists and performers from various disciplines, BE ART acts as a catalyst for creative alliances. It also sheds light on the limited availability of platforms for young local artists to express themselves freely.
BE ART is a dynamic and constantly evolving project with a chameleonic spirit that allows it to change and adapt to different contexts.
